We where called out to this beautiful home in Watson Canberra due to a burst pipe that had flooded their home with hot water.
We talked them through isolating the leak over the phone to prevent further flooding and then arrived on site within 30 minutes.
When we arrived, we found that the water had flooded all through out the home damaging carpets, architraves, walls, and more.
We identified the leak to be a flexible hose connection under the client’s sink.
We replaced the hose and then tested the incoming water pressure and found that that was also to high.
Flexible hoses are an item that should be inspected regularly and replaced every 5 years. They are one of the leading causes of insurance claims and cause alot of damage when they let go.
